Savannah urban design workshop

The new era of walking & biking cities is upon us. Are you and your city prepared for success? Do you know the best techniques that work for the new urban customer? Want to see what the future looks like first-hand?

Here's a chance to do all of the above. I've organized two new workshops in Savannah, focused on how to create a successful, walkable city. They're a very  affordable, great way to gain some first-hand knowledge about what is possible in your own city or town and receive continuing ed credits at the same time. I've been giving lectures and courses on walkability for more than fifteen years in cities across America. This, however, is a unique opportunity to receive that kind of training in a place that is already great for walking and biking.

If you know about urban planning in America, you know about the history and founding of Savannah. And of course, I write about how it is today quite often on this site. These workshops are a chance to experience it yourself in person. The lessons that can be learned here are incredibly useful for cities of just about any size. You'll see what the impact is of great public space, experience a rising culture of biking, learn about the market for downtowns and much, much more. We'll also have a lot of fun in the process.
