Xing Ping, China is a small village in southern China, located in the tourist region near Yangshuo. In spite of the tourist trade, Xing Ping is a quiet village with charming streets and a slow pace of life. This particular plaza shows something that is common throughout more of the rural areas of China - the integration of food production into public or semi-public spaces. A lesson or tool for other countries, including our own?
